Gurugram: The Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited (GMCBL) has tweaked the existing 215C route and extended it to cover sectors 92 to 95. Starting Thursday, route 215D will cater to around 15,000 people residing in condominiums like Sare Homes, Ansal Heights, Raheja Navodaya, AWHO, Tulip Petals.
Earlier known as 215C, the buses would start from Gurugram Bus Stand and end at Wazirpur, now it will also cover sectors 92 to 95 and has been named 215D.
We are starting the route for the residents of the new sectors. It will be a relief for the people who have recently moved into the area,” said Arun Sharma, general manager of GMCBL.
Residents welcomed the move and said this route will help connect sectors 92-95 with other parts of the city.
A total of 15km-long route, the starting point will be Gurugram Bus Stand and the last stoppage will be at Ansal Heights in Sector 92.
The services will start at 7.10 am and the last bus will be available at 7.25 pm. “A bus route catering to the new sectors and connecting it with the city will provide relief to residents, especially senior citizens and women,” said Amit Kumar, a resident of Sector 93.
