II<\/strong><\/a><strong>&#8216; comprising 1,410 units with a total investment of around Rs 375 crore.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Signature Global, which is\nmainly into affordable homes, on Saturday said it will invest around Rs 375\ncrore to develop a new <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.affordablehousingprojectsgurgaon.com\/\">Affordable Housing Project\nin Gurugram<\/a><\/strong>, Haryana.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The national capital-based\nfirm also announced its plans to launch 20,000 units under affordable housing\nsegment this year.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Signature Global in a\nstatement said that it has started construction work on a new project\n&#8216;Signature Global Proxima I and II&#8217; comprising 1,410 units with a total investment\nof around Rs 375 crore.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prices vary from Rs 22-26\nlakh in this project, which is being developed under the Haryana government\naffordable housing policy.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder\n&amp; Chairman, Signature Global, said,&nbsp;\nTill date we have already launched 15,173 units under Haryana Affordable\nHousing Scheme and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.affordablehousingprojectsgurgaon.com\/deen-dayal-jan-awas-yojana-sohna-gurgaon\/\">Deen\nDayal Jan Awas Yojna<\/a><\/strong> and have delivered 1,820 units till date.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is targeting to\ndeliver another 3,181 units in Gurugram by the end of this year.&nbsp; On launches in the pipeline for 2020,\nAggarwal said the company plans to launch 9,000 units under Deen Dayal Jan Awas\nYojna, 9,000 units in various locations of Gurugram under Haryana Affordable\nHousing Policy and 2,000 units in Rajnagar Extension Ghaziabad under the\nPradhan Mantri Awas Yojna.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the last five years, the\ncompany has launched 17 affordable housing projects, all in Gurugram, Sohna and\nKarnal in Haryana.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It has also launched a\ncommercial project, including a shopping mall, in Vaishali, Ghaziabad, Uttar\nPradesh comprising over 7.5 lakh square feet area.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The government is promoting\naffordable housing in a big way by charging only 1 per cent GST, interest\nsubvention under the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) and additional\ndeduction of 1.5 lakh for interest paid on home loan under income tax law for flats\npriced up to Rs 45 lakh.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During 2019, housing sales\nimproved marginally on the back of demand for affordable homes and\nready-to-move in
